Plan for this Blog

I sat at my desk on Sunday night after the Vikings game and on Monday at work trying to decide what to write and trying to make it perfect, essentially starting over 5-6 times and psyching myself out. I know that no one will really even be reading this, so why my trepidation? This blog is supposed to keep me responsible, creative, and keep me focused on getting 3 posts up a week.

Moving forward, I will be posting here 3 times a week. Ideally Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I AM going to stick to this! (*Knocks on wood immediately)

Sunday may have been one of the best days I have had in a very long time. I got a full nights rest, woke up early enough to go on a nice long walk in the 8 degree weather before the morning meeting, beautiful meeting, went home and baked blueberry and lemon scones while listening to the 'Hardcore History Podcast'. I was in this zone where I was so happy, the ingredients were workings and the podcast on Alexander the great was fascinating!

After finishing the bake, I got ready for people to come over for the Vikings-Lions game and damn I don't think a fan base (Lions) has been so excited for a game in a long time. There were so many people at the game and I had a bad feeling about it because how much was on the line for the city of Detroit. Of course we had the chance to beat them in the first game back in October when we lost by 2...

This Vikings vs. Lions game was so frustrating because we had every single opportunity to win that game. We should have won. Darnold was overthrowing passes, the defense couldn't stop the run, and Hockenson dropped a couple of passes it looked like he could have gotten. When you go for it every time on fourth down, I really am not against it, and I actually liked what KO'C did, but it was tough to see that result. I feel like you are able to make those plays half of the time. Now we move forward to the playoffs where we will be playing the LA Rams. Should be a good game. I don't like the Monday time slot, but what can ya do.

Still not sure what this will look like as I said at the beginning, but I do know that I WILL be posting. Still deciding on the blog name too. Caremes Piss Boy is getting frowned upon by my friends and family.
